Squirrel eviction from attic cost?

I recently had one of these firms come to my home and submit an estimate to remove squirrels from the attic and provide one year warranty. The cost? $800.

Has anyone used these guys before? Is $800 just about right or is it too high?Squirrel eviction from attic cost?
I would never pay that much. It is so easy to get rid of them by yourself. Simply buy a Havahart or similar trap. Cost: $40 !

I bought the larger trap and caught three raccoons at once in it!

I have caught squirrels, raccoons and possums with these traps.

Easy. Plus the trap will last much longer than a year. Best wishes.

I am not sure what area you are in, but in California I would expect a professional removal would cost around $350. If you decide to go with pros, check around for a lower price. It also depends on how big a problem you have. Bigger problem,

bigger bucks. Unless you are willing to do it yourself as I do.

This repellent鈥檚 time-release granules can be used around bird feeders or other small outdoor trouble-spots, but it is most useful indoors (when hung in mesh bags) at keeping squirrels out of areas (like the attic or wall voids) that were once infested. Outdoors, expect a 20-ounce jar of granules to treat 250 square feet of space and last up to 2 months. Indoors, the same 20 ounces can treat 500 square feet of attic space and last up to 3 months.
NO!!!! NO!!!! NO!!!! Hopefully you have a Farm Supply Store or a Do-It-Yourself Pest Control Store nearby. You can buy a bottle of ';Red Fox'; urine for under $20. They sell small containers with screw on caps. They have are filled with cotton and have holes in the bottom. You saturate the cotton with the urine and throw the containers out into your attic. The squirrels will leave. I have 12 rent houses and I us it all the time. It sure is not worth the $800 they want to charge.

RIDICULOUS!!!!
