I'm not aware of any brushes on the open market that are made from the hair of squirrels, at least not in this country. To begin with, at least in America, it would be illegal to do so. Natural hair brushes are made from animals that are raised for such purposes and the animals are not harmed in the process. So brushes made from squirrel hair are European imports.

The legal natural hair brushes that I'm aware of come from the hairs of oxen, hogs, horses, badger, sable, llama, goats, camel and human hair. Sable is a small squirrel-like mammal found across most of Northern Europe and Russia and they are raised in captivity for their hair. Sable brushes are very expensive (Kolinsky sable being the most expensive) compaired to hog or horse or ox bristle brushes. Brushes made from badger hair are also very expensive. By comparison, squirrel-hair brushes are inexpensive. But many US art store suppliers won't carry them. I can't tell you which art stores carry them but I'm pretty sure Dick Blick's (a nation-wide chain store) doesn't.
Wow, I feel soo important now.... it's so great that you think I am better then you so you had to make another account just to email me. And now your re-asking a question that I ask. WOW, you must really have a life if your taking all this time and effort to try and annoy me.

And my the way here are your squirrel brushes. Since you and ';your sister'; have taken the time to read every single one of my questions- you already figured out that I am actually a professional artist.

by the way it's really the name of the brush they mostly use goat and horse hair depending on the brand
