They are digging up and eating all the flowers and vegtables and yes i agree a shotgun would be the best method, but for right now were living in a nieghborhood till sometime next year,can someone help keep an ole country boy from gettin locked up?Re: does anyone know of any good home remedy squirrel deterents?
I understand that a sprinkling of Bobcat Urine from your local nursery or garden store does the trick often.Re: does anyone know of any good home remedy squirrel deterents?
I just gave up and put a bird feeder across the yard from my garden.





Some of the ';squirrel proof'; birdfeeders are quite amusing when the squirrels get into them. :)

chicken poop fertilizer works well and is a great lawn fertilizer too.
a pellet gun and time
Irish Spring, sliced into small strips and placed in and around your plants. Works for deer at least.





If it doesn't work for the squirrels, get the pellet gun.
Get yourself a small dog such as a fiest or beagle and train it to tree the squirrels.They wont stick around long when chased by a dog.....This method is 100%.
Make sure you don't have any bird feeders around. Squirrels are attracted to any form of food you have...the less food, the less squirrels.
