I have a squirrel right now in the Laundry Room, what do I do with it please?

The back door to the patio area was open and he came inside early and now we shut the door to the Laundry Room and he is still in there.I have a squirrel right now in the Laundry Room, what do I do with it please?
just leave the door open, he'll get out eventually. If worst comes to worst, you can buy a live trap. Don't try to chase him, he is way faster then you. O you can do the ol' box propped up with the stick trick.I have a squirrel right now in the Laundry Room, what do I do with it please?
Just leave the door open, he'll go back out.
wack it with a broom! just kidding.... make a trail of peanuts leading outside. you might have to call someone to get it out! it could bit you! it may have rabies!
I would try and put a barrier up to corral it to the nearest exit. If you have a window in your laundry room, is there any chance you could open it from the outside? There is always the fishing net catch and release method. Or, call your local varmint control and for a price they will come out and get rid of it.

Good luck!
I would open the back door to the patio again so he has an escape route. If you have some peanuts place a few near the door where he can see them (smell them) when all is quiet he should (when he gets over his fright) head for the door using the smell of the peanuts to help him find it.. ';Do not'; try to catch him, give him a way out and he will take it.
To the answer below......ummm....no

Anyways, I would recommend you open the door and shut all of the others in which the squirrel could go in and hide...then shoo it out.....if all else fails...call your local animal control services
Is it possible to open the door again so he can get out. Or your local humane society or vet sometimes will let people borrow traps that would allow you to catch and release him without harm.

Not sure what bait would attract a squirrel, but perhaps someone else will have that info.

Good Luck!
Eat it.
use a have a heart trap and peanuts for bait.
Lmao Either keep it as a pet or kill it.
Get some nuts (not in shells) or dried fruit and create a trail to lead out the door. Don't put them too close together but far enough so he can smell them and continue towards the door. Leave the door cracked with a nice stack of nuts or fruit outside of the door for him. Leave the room and keep quiet. He'll leave the room peacefully and you can close the door behind him.

If you use shelled peanuts, it'll take him a while to open them, eat them and he'll leave a mess for you to clean up..

Chasing him with a broom will make him freak out and it could take hours/days to get him out.
