I've seen the option for Squirrel Mail, and from my experiences with Hostmonster, I would expect it to be up-to-date.

I personally use HostGator and have several e-mail account that I only check via web mail options. Of those I use Squirrel mail. Have never had a problem with them. This site also ranks web hosts but I can only speak as to HostGator
